چکیده

Purpose: This study sought to compare the characteristics of patients with pathogen-positive and negative cultures, investigate factors predicting culture results in acute poisoning suspected aspiration. Methods: Consecutive admitted an intensive care unit between January 2016 December 2018 were retrospectively studied. Respiratory specimens collected from enrolled at time We compared analyzed causative pathogens. Results: Among 526 patients, 325 showed no clinical features that could be attributed aspiration, 201 had suggestive Of these, 113 culture, 61 negative, 27 contained poor-quality sputum. In univariate analysis, a positive longer ingestion (p=0.01), faster heart rate higher partial pressure arterial oxygen fraction inspired (PaO2/FiO2) (p=0.02) than culture. Multivariate analysis demonstrated PaO2/FiO2 (adjusted odd ratio, 1.005; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.002-1.008; p=0.005) was significant risk factor for The area under receiver operating characteristic curve 0.591 (95% CI, 0.510-0.669, p=0.05). Gram-negative pathogens (GNPs) predominant least one GNP observed 84 (73.3%) among those pathogen Conclusion: failed find any associated results. Antibiotics cover GNPs considered when deciding initial antibiotic regimen

construction of vector fields with positive lyapunov exponents

in this thesis our aim is to construct vector field in r3 for which the corresponding one-dimensional maps have certain discontinuities. two kinds of vector fields are considered, the first the lorenz vector field, and the second originally introced here. the latter have chaotic behavior and motivate a class of one-parameter families of maps which have positive lyapunov exponents for an open in...
